Priscilla Lombardo is a stationery store owner from Genoa, Italy, who claims to have never taken any loan from a bank, family or friends, although she started the business from the very bottom.
Priscilla’s stationery store was the first in the city to sell printers as well. Her store offers one of the greatest variety of barcode printers at some of the cheapest prices in the city and that’s what the business is most popular for, both online and offline. Priscilla’s stationery store also offers passport/visa photo service, which is nothing new in the states but it is a big deal in Italy.
Priscilla claims to have also financed gave all the expertise to a lady with whom she was very good friends with in the school, who wanted to start her own stationery store but lacked expertise and funds. Her business too has been booming since its very start and it was just last week that she presented Priscilla a smoke grid (Griglia Antifumo) which Priscilla seems to love.
Priscilla is really sad about the fact that the expenditure and competition has only risen in the stationery industry whereas the profit margins have become too thin to be able to survive for the owner.
Priscilla cannot get enough of writing on her blog that even after the internet boom and other technological revolutions, most of her business still comes through the word of mouth.
Priscilla claims to have the most polite staff in the entire stationery business of Italy. She claims to have seen several stationery stores going tout of the business due to their staff being rude to the customers.
